The RESTORATION of Q5 - The Bill Goode Golden Fleece Falcon Special
Restored by Brian Darby over a period of two years. Bought off VSA member Rob Smith in 1995 as a load of junk for $ 7200.
Goode and Falcon Q5 - Sydney Royale - took 3rd. place in 1962 Australian Grand Prix. 
Goode and Falcon Q5 lead the pack at The Royale.
Goode runs Q5 with Standard headed Grey Holden engine.
Gus McClure runs Q5 as Q27 in Maroon paint and with REPCO Holden engine.
Old Q5 / Q27 bought off McClure by Alex Walker and run at Carina Speedway Bundaberg Qld. as the  Carina Special # 1 with Holden engine.
As I found Q5 and bought it off Rob Smith in 1995.

A Falcon 6 engine fitted to the chassis.
A grey Holden water pump fitted to the side.
Front crash bar - bent around a flower pot in the yard.
The hand made exhaust extractor made to go under the carbs and over the chassis rail - not much room.

A 2v head- triple 1/3-4" SUs - 30/70 Crow cam - flat top pistons +.040"
